Flavigula wavers in crepuscular zones, modulating among ripples and maelstroms, within spectra of snow and hailstones. Neither she makes delineations among the pleasing and unsightly, nor distinctions within the crystalline, shifting phase. Bounding in abstract landscapes, she thrives.
Polymorfóza is an extrapolation about dreams of travelling on an invisible bridge (or causeway) between the Ebro valley in La Rioja and the northern semi-village culture of Prague.
The first piece on the cassette, Motorbike, details a hallucinogenic journey beginning in La Rioja. The whole middle section is tranquility at the top of the causeway, in the upper atmosphere, only observing the minor tremors in the land below. The arrival in Prague is an explosion then a descent into minimalism and routine, like the life there.
The second piece, Shambal, involves tearing oneself away from the binding rituals of Prague and crawling along the causeway once again, amongst an atmosphere of electrical storms, only to arrive in La Rioja where everything is the same, like a strange loop. The melodies that crisscross the piece play counterpoint with one another, stepping through modes as one finally descends the causeway and into the Ebro valley.
